Bryan Morry, of Patriots Football Weekly, reports New England Patriots offensive line and assistant head coach Dante Scarnecchia and tight ends coach Pete Mangurian took charge of the offense during full-team workouts Thursday, June 9. Both coaches were more vocal during drills than they were last season when Charlie Weis—now with Notre Dame—was the offensive coordinator.

Updating a previous report, Nick Cafardo, of the Boston Globe, speculates New England Patriots offensive line and assistant head coach Dante Scarnecchia is likely to become the team's new offensive coordinator. As previously reported, Patriots tight ends and assistant offensive line coach Jeff Davidson is also a candidate for the position.
