PewterReport.com reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers former defensive coordinator Jim Bates is no longer with the team, according to head coach Raheem Morris. There has been speculation that two coaches that Bates brought to the team, defensive backs coach Joe Baker and defensive line coach Robert Nunn, were going to be fired, but that has not happened.

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is expected to interview defensive tackles coach Robert Nunn for a position on his defensive staff. Nunn is under contract next season and there's little doubt that he will be retained.

Updating a previous report, according to Packers.com, the Green Bay Packers have hired Robert Nunn as a defensive assistant coach. Nunn's official title will be determined once the entire defensive staff has been finalized.

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports league sources have said the Green Bay Packers plan to hire Robert Nunn to fill the role of defensive line coach. Nunn served as assistant defensive line coach and defensive quality control coach under new defensive coordinator Jim Bates in Miami from 2000-'02.
