The Tennessee Titans kept nine offensive linemen on the roster for most of last season, and this year OTs Michael Roos and David Stewart, OGs Andy Levitre and Chance Warmack, and Cs Brian Schwenke and Fernando Velasco are considered locks for the roster. After that, OG Robert Turner is likely a very strong candidate for a job, as he can play both guard and center. OLs Byron Stingily and Mike Otto were clear favorites for jobs, but the signing of OT Barry Richardson complicates that battle. OG Chris Spencer (calf) is also in the mix for a job, and he can play both guard and center when healthy.

Tennessee Titans OT Michael Roos believes QB Jake Locker is on the verge of becoming a franchise quarterback. "This offseason, I've seen it more than (at) any other point in the last three years," Roos said. "It's his team now. He might be a very easy-going guy, a very happy guy, but when it comes to football, he definitely has that fire. We're all seeing it."
Thu, 20 Jun 2013 16:26:13 -0700
The Tennessee Titans' offensive line still needs to develop chemistry. OTs Michael Roos (back) and David Stewart (leg), and free-agent signee OG Andy Levitre (back) missed team drills. They'll need to be present to develop with rookie guard Chance Warmack.
Fantasy Tip: Levitre and Warmack are key to the Titans improving their run game, which is a chief goal this year. This'll be a vital development to watch as we determine where to draft Chris Johnson, Kenny Britt and the other skills players

Tennessee Titans WR Roberto Wallace (ankle), OG Chris Spencer (calf), WR Justin Hunter (hamstring) and OT Michael Roos (back) all did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 4.
Fri, 24 May 2013 18:17:13 -0700
The Tennessee Titans have a new-look offensive line, and there are some position battles to watch during training camp and the preseason. One key battle will be C Fernando Velasco against draft pick C Brian Schwenke. OG Chance Warmack is expected to win the right guard job next to OT David Stewart, and newcomer OG Andy Levitre and OT Michael Roos are expected to comprise the left side of the line.
Fantasy Tip: A strong offensive line is music to the ears of potential fantasy owners of RB Chris Johnson, as well as QB Jake Locker. The latter might have fewer grass stains on his back, having ample time to dial up WR Kenny Britt, WR Nate Washington and TE Delanie Walker, among others.

The Tennessee Titans' offensive line was a patchwork group in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts and it showed in the running game. RB Chris Johnson could only manage 44 yards rushing on 19 carries, and his longest gain was just eight yards. OLT Michael Roos was the only starter remaining from the line when training camp began.
Johnson has been held to less than 52 yards rushing in back-to-back games after having 80 yards or more rushing in the previous six contests. Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said the team tried to stay with the running game as long as they could, but noted their 2.3 yards per carry was frustrating. Johnson did well enough to put him over the 1,000-yard mark, as he now has 1,037 yards rushing on the year. He said he doesn't want to make excuses and the team just needs to work hard to improve.
