Thomas has been receiving most of the carries while Sproles has been doing different things depending on the play. RB Mark Ingram has been working mostly with the second-team offense during workouts. It appears the team will use the hot hand during games this season and not stick with one running back. Fantasy Tip: Sproles likely will have the most fantasy value among the team's running backs because of his ability to produce in the running and passing game. Sproles should be considered a No. 1 running back especially in point-per-reception leagues because of his receiving abilities. Thomas and Ingram should be backup running backs on fantasy teams that could be flex option in some weeks.

"I just want to go out there and do what I can to help the team win a championship," Ingram said. "Of course I want to have a big year individually. But, you know, the main goal is to win games and stay healthy and be out there on the field on Sundays." Ingram said he is fine with sharing carries with Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles.

The Saints nearly doubled their rushing average the past two weeks without Sproles (72.6 yards per game through seven games, 144 yards per game the last two). "Yeah, they would," Ivory said. "But I think as long as I'm doing the right things and get a plus on the plays that I get, I think that just helps me out and allows them to give that much more trust in me."
