Oakland Raiders OT Khalif Barnes has the inside track of starting at right tackle for the team in 2012. However, it is likely that the Raiders will take a long look at OG Bruce Campbell and OT Joseph Barksdale as well.

The Oakland Raiders were penalized 10 times for 84 yards in the team's preseason opener. OT Khalif Barnes drew three of those flags for false starts. Last season, the Raiders led the NFL in penalties and penalty yardage.

The Oakland Raiders could try to re-sign impending free-agent OT Khalif Barnes in order to give the team more versatility up front. With an offensive line that isn't too experienced, having a veteran player like Barnes to fill in at a variety of positions is something the team will need.

He has the head start on OT Khalif Barnes entering training camp, but the Raiders want him to take the job and keep it. The Raiders could then always move Barnes to right tackle.
