"The big thing is for them to learn how to play with their hands," Grantham said. "We play what is called a heavy front. We play head-up against the offensive linemen. We try to press the blocks (engage the linemen) so we can be stout against the run."

The Cleveland Browns have hired Todd Grantham as their new defensive coordinator, reports ClevelandBrowns.com. Grantham spent the previous three seasons with the Houston Texans as a defensive line coach. "Todd (Grantham) has done a terrific job coaching his players, particularly in Houston," said head coach Romeo Crennel. "He is energetic and dynamic in how he motivates his players, helping them reach their potential. He has a good background with the 3-4 defense and will certainly enhance what we are building here in Cleveland."
