NFL | Thurman pleads not guilty Fri, 1 Aug 2008 10:01:46 -0700 The Associated Press reports former Cincinnati Bengals LB Odell Thurman has pleaded not guilty to breaking a man's jaw during a fight while in line at a water park. Thurman was arraigned in Erie County Thursday, July 31, on a charge of felonious assault. Police are saying that Thurman punched a man in the face May 27 after they argued about a place in line. Thurman was suspended indefinitely in June after violating the National Football League's substance abuse policy. He is free on $20,000 bond and has a pretrial hearing scheduled for Aug. 25.
