The Associated Press reports an autopsy conducted on deceased Denver Broncos RB Damien Nash found no sign of drugs or unnatural substances in his system. An exact cause of his death could not be determined, the St. Louis County medical examiner's office said Tuesday, May 8.

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports a preliminary autopsy on Denver Broncos deceased RB Damien Nash was inconclusive, according to Nash's agent, David Canter. Toxicology results will likely take weeks, while a forensic pathologist who specializes in hearts is expected to examine Nash's. Nash did experience some minor weight issues while as a member of the Tennessee Titans. Nash, however, had no weight issues with the Broncos.

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos RB Damien Nash died Saturday, Feb. 24, after a charity basketball game, according to his agent David Canter. Nash was 24 and the cause of death was not immediately known.

RB Damien Nash and RB Cedric Cobbs both shined during the game. "We've got some competition. This is about evaluation over a whole camp, not just this game, so that's a good problem to have. We like depth and we like guys playing hard," said head coach Mike Shanahan.

Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports free agent RB Damien Nash (Titans) requested to be released from the Tennessee Titans. Nash requested the move in large part because of the number of running backs the team had on the roster. Nash's agent, David Canter, said, "He realized his best opportunities were probably elsewhere. It is disappointing for us, but at the same time, Damien feels like he needed a fresh start." Nash was reportedly in head coach Jeff Fisher's doghouse after showing up to training camp overweight and out of shape. Canter claimed there was a "miscommunication" as to what Nash's weight was supposed to be and Nash was "mad" because he was not allowed to practice.

The Tennessean reports Tennessee Titans RB Damien Nash, who's being held out of practice until he makes weight and meets conditioning requirements, weighed in at 235 pounds Friday, July 28. Nash was supposed to be less than 225. He's listed on the roster at 220. Nash said he didn't know whether he was overweight, called it a "confusion thing" over the number and predicted he'd be back in "a couple days."
