Seattle Seahawks CB Brandon Browner responded to San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh's recent comments about the Seahawks' rash of performance-enhancing drugs violations.
"I don't have anything for it," Browner said. "At the end of the day we gotta win football games. He's a coach. He's never gonna be out there lined up against me. I wish he would; I'd put my hands around his neck. At the end of the day, I'm about winning football games."
Fantasy Tip: It is unlikely the NFL will come down on Browner with a suspension, although a modest fine would not be surprising.

Seattle Seahawks CB Brandon Browner was added to the 53 man roster Monday, Dec. 31, after serving a four game suspension. Browner is hoping to return to the starting lineup, but head coach Pete Carroll is concerned about rust. "I talked to him today," Carroll said. "He's here, he has worked out real hard and his weight's in shape. He feels fast and all of that, he's going to have fresh legs relative to guys who are 16 games into it. But we've got to see how he does, and fortunately we've got guys who can play. If he's not quite right or if he doesn't get off to a good start during the week, we've got other guys who can play for him. But we're going to give him a heck of a chance to play. We're thrilled to get him back, so we'll see what happens."

Seattle Seahawks CB Walter Thurmond had three tackles, including one for a loss, and held Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald to only one catch for two yards in Week 14. Fitzgerald was thrown to 11 times in the contest. It was Thurmond's first start of the season, playing in CB Brandon Browner's absence. "It felt like right before I got injured last year," Thurmond said. "I felt real comfortable. It was just football out there today. I really felt back into the groove of things."

Browner has been drawing comparisons to Broncos' CB Lenny Walls. "The exciting thing about Brandon is that for all the things we like about Lenny (Walls), if you stand them side-by-side, they look like bookends," said general manager Ted Sundquist. "Yet Brandon carries a lot more weight than Lenny does in his upper body, which allows him to be a little more physical, which is why we feel he would be such a good fit at the safety spot." Browner feels the safety position fits him better.
