Arrington (knee) only cost the Denver Broncos $100,000 because they released him before June. Due to Arrington's pre-existing knee problem, the Broncos had set up a $300,000 roster bonus for him in June. Basically, the Broncos rented him for three months for $100,000 to see if he would be healthy. When it was determined he would not be, they cut ties with him.
