Cohen was former GM Mike Tannenbaum's right-hand man. Nissim handled many of the team's contracts. Several scouts were also let go. Fri, 03 May 2013 07:04:48 -0700 New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez could very well be the team's starting quarterback this upcoming season. Sanchez may provide the team's best option at quarterback because QB Geno Smith is considered raw at this point and QB David Garrard is 35 years old and hasn't played an NFL game since 2010. Head coach Rex Ryan is likely coaching for his job this year, so he likely will pick the starting quarterback who will best help him win games in the short term.

Fri, 22 Mar 2013 14:34:05 -0700 New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan refuted all talk of a trade involving CB Darrelle Revis, or anyone else on his roster. But I will say this -- I believe that the Jets, I know and I've always said it, we're not actively looking to trade Darrelle. Wherever this is coming from, I don't believe it's coming from the New York Jets. Does that mean he's going to be traded or not? Hey, that's just speculation."

I've approached this like it's a brand-new beginning, which I believe it is. And so that's how I approached it. I'm excited about coaching this team. I realize there are going to be quite a few changes. We're going to lose quite a few football players."
