The Pittsburgh Steelers have not officially said if FS Ryan Clark will be allowed to play in Week 9 because of his sickle cell trait, but it does not appear like he will play in the game even though he has received medical clearance. FS Tyrone Carter has been working with the first-team defense at free safety during practice in place of Clark.
