Packers | Aaron Rodgers disgruntled |
Tue, 17 Apr 2018 06:21:40 -0700
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is "frustrated and emotional" about being completely cut out of discussions that resulted in departures of WR Jordy Nelson and quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt, according to sources. It is a factor in his thought process when it comes to his contract extension.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers just turned 34, and he looked great before the collarbone injury derailed him last year. He should be one of the top quarterback options again this season, and the chip on his shoulder could be beneficial to fantasy owners.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers deal on hold? |
Sat, 03 Mar 2018 18:25:11 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' contract extension is unlikely to be completed until after Washington Redskins impending free-agent Kirk Cousins signs his new deal, according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers has no reason to rush his extension, so waiting to see where Cousins sets the market makes sense. Rodgers isn't going anywhere, and his status as a top-tier QB1 is unlikely to change any time soon.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers is healthy |
Wed, 28 Feb 2018 11:28:04 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) met with Dr. Pat McKenzie, and "everything looks good" with Rodgers' clavicle, according to Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers should be A-OK for Week 1, but his ability to stay healthy is an ever-growing concern. Treat him as one of the top two or three quarterbacks in 2018 drafts.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers to begin contract talks? |
Fri, 16 Feb 2018 19:08:48 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' contract extension will likely be a priority this offseason, according to Pete Dougherty of USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin, and Dougherty believes Rodgers will sign a record-setting deal.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers still has a couple of years remaining on his current deal, but it's no surprise that the Packers would want to lock up their franchise quarterback. He'll be the top quarterback on the draft board in 2018.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) said he's had no limitations on his offseason workouts that he participates in on his own and that he'll be full go by the time the team returns for their offseason program in mid-April. "I'm back into everything I like to do in the offseason with my training, and I'll be ready to go when we're back in April," Rodgers said. He also mentioned that he's "feeling great."

Packers | Aaron Rodgers realistic about future |
Sat, 03 Feb 2018 20:04:22 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he believes he has many good years left in him, but he acknowledged that he could finish his career with a different team. "I think you have to be humble enough to realize if it could happen to Brett (Favre), it can happen to you," Rodgers said.
Fantasy Tip: Green Bay fans shouldn't panic. Rodgers has a couple of years left on his current deal, and he is likely to remain a Packer, and a high-end QB1 for that matter, for the foreseeable future.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers questions QB coach decision |
Thu, 01 Feb 2018 09:46:41 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he was not even consulted before former quarterbacks coach, and current Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach, Alex Van Pelt was fired, adding that the decision was "interesting." Rodgers said he had a close connection with Van Pelt.
Fantasy Tip: We know Rodgers can succeed with any coach, but the fact that the Packers didn't even entertain Rodgers' opinions on the matter is certainly puzzling. Nonetheless, the veteran quarterback is a perennial high-end QB1 as long as he is of sound health.

Packers | Aaron Rodgers placed on IR |
Tue, 19 Dec 2017 13:10:24 -0800
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Dec. 19. Free-agent QB Joe Callahan (Packers) was re-signed in a corresponding move.
