LB Thomas Davis (groin), TE Chris Manhertz (shoulder), QB Cam Newton (shoulder), DE Julius Peppers (shoulder) and RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle) each practiced and were lifted from the injury report.

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is optimistic that LB Thomas Davis (forearm) will be able to play in the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos after having surgery to fix a broken right right arm Monday, Jan. 25. "If everything goes well, it is my understanding this is something he can play with," Rivera said.
