The Billings Gazette reports Buffalo Bills QB Craig Ochs (unknown) will not take the field Saturday, May 27, when the Frankfurt Galaxy meets the reigning champion Amsterdam Admirals in NFL Europe's World Bowl XIV game. Amsterdam head coach Bart Andrus said in that Ochs, a starter for the Galaxy during the second half of the season, suffered an injury in Frankfurt's regular season finale last Saturday, May 20, and is a "no go" for the championship game. Andrus said he didn't know the extent of Ochs' injury.

Kyle Ringo, of the Daily Camera, reports Buffalo Bills QB Craig Ochs is performing well in NFL Europe and is one win away from leading the Frankfurt Galazy to the World Bowl. After nine games, Ochs is the second-rated passer in the league and has completed 82-of-136 attempts for 993 yards and six touchdowns. He has thrown four interceptions, but he has completed over 60 percent of his passes.

The Missoulian reports newly signed Buffalo Bills QB Craig Ochs will be sent to NFL Europe, according to agent Ken Staninger. Ochs is hoping to compete for the No. 3 job with the Bills in the fall. "There's been a lot of discussion he (QB Shane Matthews) is going to retire, so the No. 3 job is completely wide open at this point," Staninger said.

The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent QB Craig Ochs (Chargers) to a two-year contract. The contract included base salaries of $235,000 (2006) and $310,000 (2007).
