Zac Jackson, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports the Cleveland Browns' offense struggled in their first preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday, August 10. The Browns offensive starters played two series and gained 44 yards. QB Charlie Frye was 4-of-7 for 23 yards and RB Reuben Droughns gained 21 yards on four carries. Browns QB Lang Campbell threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to RB Jerome Harrison for the team's only score in the Browns 20-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cleveland Browns QB Lang Campbell was named NFL Europe Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Berlin Thunder to a 33-29 victory over the Amsterdam Admirals. Campbell completed 16-of-26 passes for 139 yards, one TD and a 88.5 quarterback rating.

Steve King, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports Cleveland Browns undrafted rookie free agent QB Lang Campbell has been very affective thus far in minicamps. He hasn't missed many open receivers and his passes have been crisp. "I have a good arm – not the best, but good," Campbell said. "I would describe myself as a functional quarterback. I'm mobile, but I'm not the most mobile quarterback around." Despite his solid performance, Campbell remains a long shot to make the Browns' active roster.
