Leinart completed 16 of his 32 passes for 115 yards and an interception in his most extensive game action since Nov. 29, 2009. Leinart said he is going to prepare for Week 17 as if he is the starter.

"(Matt Leinart is) our backup quarterback," Allen said. "Terrelle's done a nice job. He's working extremely hard. We don't feel like he's ready to be the backup quarterback just yet."
