The Cleveland Indians tendered all seven arbitration-eligible players before the deadline. SS Asdrubal Cabrera, OF Shin-Soo Choo, SP Justin Masterson, CL Chris Perez, 3B Jack Hannahan, RP Joe Smith and RP Rafael Perez were tendered contracts.

Cleveland Indians OF Shin-Soo Choo will leave for South Korea soon for a four-week stay to complete military requirements. The team expects him back in the United States some time in mid to late December.

Cleveland Indians OF Shin-Soo Choo (oblique) has remained in Cleveland to work through a rehab program, although head trainer Lonnie Soloff said he is scheduled to return to his home in Arizona late this week or early next week to continue his rehab.

The Cleveland Indians have transferred OF Shin-Soo Choo (rib cage) to the 60-day disabled list. In a corresponding move, SP Mitch Talbot was recalled from Triple-A Columbus.

The Cleveland Indians may place OF Shin-Soo Choo (rib cage) on the 60-day disabled list if they need to clear a roster spot for SP Mitch Talbot to make a start. Choo will miss the rest of the season because of a left rib cage injury.

Cleveland Indians OF Shin-Soo Choo (oblique, ribs), who had been activated from the 15-day disabled list Thursday, Sept. 15, following a strained oblique muscle, had to be removed after one inning due to left rib cage aggravation. OF Ezequiel Carrera took his place. There was no word on Choo's condition.
