Atlanta Falcons TE Reggie Kelly (back) was shaken up in the second quarter of the Week 16 game against the New Orleans Saints Monday, Dec. 26. Kelly was hit in the lower back by a Saints defender on a dropped pass, but he was able to jog off under his own power.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham said TE Reggie Kelly has been helping him out during offseason workouts with lining up in formations as well as his technique, reports Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com. "Reggie tells me what to do in this formation. What to do on this play. How to block this level right here. He tells me things you wouldn't expect to know as a rookie, but he's already done it," Gresham said.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Reggie Kelly (Achilles') had a strength test on his injured leg in December that showed his injured leg is 100 percent healthy, reports Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer. Kelly would like to run routes and work with the team during OTAs or their June minicamp to knock off some rust before training camp. He will, however, take it slow and not rush things, as he realizes it is going to take some time to get into football shape.

Updating a previous item, Joe Reedy, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals TE Reggie Kelly (Achilles') suffered a ruptured Achilles' tendon Monday, Aug. 3. He will undergo surgery Wednesday, Aug. 5. The team said they do now know the extent of Kelly's injury, but the usual recovery time is six months.
