Texas Rangers 1B Brett Nicholas will get some work behind the plate with C Geovany Soto (ankle) sidelined for three weeks after ankle surgery. He was drafted as a catcher, but he has seen time at first base and catcher over the past four years. "The biggest thing is I don't have the greatest arm," Nicholas said Saturday, Feb. 22. "I need to develop a quick release and work on my accuracy. If I can get my throws down and on target, everything will be good."
