The Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings LB Ed McDaniel (high ankle sprain) left today's game in the second half after aggravating the injury. LB Antonio Wilson replaced him. Backup LB Jim Nelson sustained a bruised thigh on a kickoff early in the game. The injury does not appear to be serious.

Coach Dennis Green indicated Jacquet was re-signed because the team's primary return man, Troy Walters, is struggling with a bothersome knee. Green is undecided on which player will play this week. Green also indicated the team may re-sign Wilson to the practice squad.

Vikings.com reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Dennis Green said the team made it through Sunday's game rather injury free. LB Jim Nelson suffered a quad strain while Antonio Wilson pulled a hamstring. They may not be able to practice on Wednesday but Green said he feels the team will be in good shape for next weekend's game health wise.

The team is expected to reach an injury settlement with DE Fernando Smith. LB Craig Sauer was released after receiving an injury settlement. WR Cedric James (fourth-round pick) and Carey Scott (sixth-round pick) are expected to be placed on injured reserve.
