Bill Williamson reports for the Pioneer Press the Minnesota Vikings plan to put OL David Dixon and Corbin Lacina back in the starting lineup this week. Dixon was benched in favor of Everett Lindsay, and Calvin Collins played in front of Lacina against the Packers last week. Lindsay is expected to be the backup at every position this week, and Collins likely will spell Lacina. FS Orlando Thomas and RCB Robert Tate are scheduled to start again. Thomas (death in family) missed practice today, but he should be back tomorrow. Eric Kelly could see a lot of action at left corner if Dale Carter (hamstring) can't play. Jim Nelson is expected to start at weakside linebacker and Andre O'Neal is set to start at strongside linebacker. QB Spergon Wynn is also slated to start.

Bill Williamson reports for the Pioneer Press it appears the Minnesota Vikings are benching starting RG David Dixon. Everett Lindsay is expected to start in his place. Sources said coach Dennis Green made the decision. Dixon has been a starter for the past three seasons. It also appears Calvin Collins will start at left guard in place of Corbin Lacina. LB Jim Nelson likely will start at weak-side linebacker in place of LB Ed McDaniel (shoulder). If LB Lemanski Hall (shoulder) can't play, Andre O'Neal probably will take his place at strong-side linebacker.

Vikings.com reports the Minnesota Vikings have signed free agent LB Andre O'Neal. He has played this season with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers. The team released CB Wasswa Serwanga to create the needed roster spot.

Packers.com reports the Green Bay Packers have signed CB Keith Thibodeaux and released LB Andre O'Neal.

The Journal Sentinel reports newly signed Green Bay Packers LB Andre O'Neal (Chiefs) may have a short stay with the team. A spot was created for him when DB Antuan Edwards was placed on injured reserve. Another roster spot will have to be cleared Monday when DT Cletidus Hunt returns from a four-game suspension. O'Neal could be let go to open that needed spot.

Packers.com reports the Green Bay Packers have claimed LB Andre O'Neal off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs. They placed DB Antuan Edwards on injured reserve to create a free roster spot.

Jay Glazer reports for SportsLine.com that the Kansas City Chiefs have released DT Dan Williams, CB Pat Dennis and LB Andre O'Neal. The team plans to sign free agent DT Nate Hobgood-Chittick today.
