"Here we are again talking about things I didn't think we'd be talking about," Clemens said. "To tie Steve Carlton, he's one of the best ever, and to have my name alongside of him is a tremendous honor."

Johnson fanned 11 Rockies to finish with 4,139 to trail SPs Nolan Ryan (5,714) and Roger Clemens (4,287). Johnson is now the all-time strikeout king for lefties.
