Fri, 18 May 2012 18:56:10 -0700 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager Mike Scioscia said Friday, May 18, that it is possible 1B Albert Pujols could be used at third base in interleague play in National League parks, in order to get Pujols, 1B Kendrys Morales and 1B Mark Trumbo all into the lineup without the use of the designated hitter. Fantasy Tip: The added eligibility would be nice for Pujols owners, but he would likely need to appear at the hot corner in at least five games to gain eligibility. Pujols played in six games at third base last season for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Tue, 24 Apr 2012 15:45:10 -0700 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 3B Mark Trumbo has started each of the team's last five games at five different positions, and he's starting in right field for only the second time in his career Tuesday, April 24. Manager Mike Scioscia said Trumbo is "still a work in progress" at third base. "It's a big adjustment going from first to third but I don't think it's anything he can't do," Scioscia said. "Hopefully, he'll get to a comfort level there. But there's going to be an adjustment period for any player changing positions."
Fri, 20 Apr 2012 11:54:06 -0700 An executive of a rival team thinks the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim should shop 3B Mark Trumbo or OF Bobby Abreu, or both, in exchange for a controllable bullpen arm to help their depth. Trumbo has started just three games at third base in the first 13 games, including just one in the past week. However, there are no indications that the Angels are willing to move Trumbo.
Fri, 20 Apr 2012 06:18:29 -0700 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 3B/1B Mark Trumbo will likely see time in left field and right field in the near future. It's believed that OF Torii Hunter volunteered to be the designated hitter some to get Trumbo time in the outfield.
Fri, 13 Apr 2012 13:19:53 -0700 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 3B Mark Trumbo was back at third base Friday, April 13, despite making three errors in his first two starts at the hot corner.
