Fantasy Tip: Beckham's return will shift Jeff Keppinger back to the hot corner, leaving Conor Gillaspie with drastically reduced playing time. Gillaspie would only be worth keeping on very deep AL-only league rosters.

Chicago White Sox 3B Conor Gillaspie (illness) was scratched from the starting lineup against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Saturday, May 11, because of an upper respiratory infection. INF Jeff Keppinger moved over from second base to third base, with INF Tyler Greene inserted into the lineup to play second.

Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Sunday, May 5, that he is confident 2B Jeff Keppinger can snap out of his offensive funk. The .284 career hitter is batting just .186 this season with two extra-base hits and no walks in 97 at-bats. "I don't know if concern is the word, but you can tell it's not smooth," Ventura said. "It's not the norm for him. But he has a track record you expect that to come out. You just have to stay with it."

Fantasy Tip: Beckham isn't certain how long he'll be sidelined, so Keppinger might see regular playing time. In daily AL-only fantasy leagues Keppinger should be moved into the active lineup immediately.
