Baltimore Orioles RP Kevin Gregg was forced to work a second inning Wednesday, April 11, against the New York Yankees with RPs Troy Patton and Pedro Strop unavailable after a heavy workload earlier in the series. In Gregg's second inning of work, he served up a two-run home run to Yankees OF Nick Swisher and was tagged for the loss.

Baltimore Orioles RP Darren O'Day won the final spot in the bullpen over RP Zach Phillips, who will begin the year with Triple-A Norfolk. RP Troy Patton won the other bullpen spot. SP Brian Matusz officially was named to the roster, and he'll start Monday, April 9.

Baltimore Orioles SPs Jake Arrieta and Jason Hammel will oppose each other in the team's intrasquad game Friday, March 2. Other pitchers will include Kevin Gregg, Matt Lindstrom, Brian Matusz, Alfredo Simon, Dana Eveland, Darren O'Day, Pedro Strop, Zach Phillips, Brad Bergesen, Troy Patton and Miguel Socolovich. Arrieta and Hammel are also expected to pitch in the March 8 spring game against the Atlanta Braves.
