Vikings | Tice Changes Mind On Scott

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice decided late Monday, August 11 to cut Vikings DB Carey Scott because of too many mental errors. Tice woke up Tuesday, August 12 with the same idea and called Scott to his room. When Scott was in the room, awaiting the bad news, Tice decided to give him another chance.

Bill Williamson, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings CB Carey Scott will be released Tuesday, August 12. The Vikings coaching staff was upset with him for being the 12th man on the field, drawing a penalty, late in the Saturday, August 9 pre-season game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Scott didn't help matters by repeating the mistake in during practice Monday, August 11.
