Vikings | Tate Note |
Mon, 01 Oct 2001 16:25:28 -0700
The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings starting CB Robert Tate is still bothered by the shoulder he hurt in the pre-season. The team expects him to listed as questionable for Sunday's game with New Orleans. Coach Dennis Green is concerned about a lack of depth at defensive back. Rookie Eric Kelly and Keith Thibodeaux would be the top candidates to replace Tate if he's unable to go. Tate has been well enough to play but a weakened shoulder had made jamming receivers at the line of scrimmage difficult.
