Brewers | Adam Lind out vs. southpaw

Thu, 03 Sep 2015 11:24:50 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind is not in the lineup against Pittsburgh Pirates left-handed SP Francisco Liriano Thursday, Sept. 3. 1B Jason Rogers is starting at first base and is hitting fifth.

Fantasy Tip: Liriano owns the highest K/BB (strikeout-to-walk rate) of any starting pitcher today on a small slate of games, and Rogers ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) is hitting only .222 (12-for-54) with two home runs against lefties this year. Those aren't the kind of numbers you're looking for from a deep sleeper on FantasyScore.

Brewers | No Adam Lind vs. Cincinnati

Sun, 30 Aug 2015 08:22:38 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind is not in the starting lineup Sunday, Aug. 30. C Jonathan Lucroy is starting at first base, and C Martin Maldonado is starting behind the plate and batting eighth against Cincinnati Reds SP John Lamb Sunday.

Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Lind ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) in all fantasy formats Sunday. The veteran is batting just .215 against lefties this season, so it is an opportune time to provide him with a game off. Since you can only play one of Lucroy ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) or Maldonado ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) at FantasyScore Sunday, it is worth spending up to target Lucroy who has 16 runs, four home runs and 11 RBI wiht a .866 OPS in August.

Brewers | Adam Lind out of starting lineup Tuesday

Tue, 18 Aug 2015 11:53:40 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind is not in the lineup Tuesday, Aug. 18, against the Miami Marlins. 1B Jason Rogers is batting fifth against Marlins SP Adam Conley.

Fantasy Tip: Lind ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) hits .211 against left-handed pitching, so he is seated for the evening against Conley. Rogers is hitless in the past week in seven at-bats so he carries little fantasy value.

Brewers | Adam Lind out vs. lefty

Thu, 13 Aug 2015 10:31:13 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind is not in the lineup against Chicago Cubs left-handed SP Jon Lester Thursday, Aug. 13. 1B Jason Rogers is starting at first base and hitting fifth.

Fantasy Tip: Rogers ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) has decent power but struggles to make consistent contact. He's hitting only .234 (22-for-94) with two home runs and seven RBI in limited duty in 2015. He's not a strong daily play against Lester, who has been lights out of late.

Brewers | Adam Lind has pair of extra-base hits

Tue, 11 Aug 2015 22:04:11 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind went 2-for-4 with a double, home run, two runs scored and two RBIs Tuesday, Aug. 11, against the Chicago Cubs.

Fantasy Tip: Lind ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) has driven in six runs over his past seven games, and he has managed multi-hit games in five of the past nine to raise his average from .276 to .287. FantasyScore owners need to strike while the iron is hot.

Sat, 08 Aug 2015 14:37:14 -0700

Brewers | Adam Lind still rolling against righties

Thu, 06 Aug 2015 18:47:54 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI, two runs scored and a walk in a 10-1 win over the San Diego Padres Thursday, Aug. 6, and he is hitting .297 with a .900 OPS against right-handed pitching this season.

Fantasy Tip: All 16 of Lind's ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) homers and 55 of his 61 RBI have come against righties, and he is well worth his price tag at FantasyScore as long as he isn't facing a left-handed starter.

Brewers | Milwaukee likely to hold onto Adam Lind

Fri, 31 Jul 2015 12:39:54 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind is of trade interest to teams, but the Brewers are not motivated to move him because of his option for the 2016 season.

Fantasy Tip: Lind ($5,000 10.0% of cap) is having a fantastic season for Milwaukee, especially against right-handed pitching (.295/.378/.534 slash line). In the off chance he does move, Lind could actually lose value, so it is worth looking out to see what unfolds. It sounds like he'll be sticking with the Brewers, though.

Brewers | Adam Lind batting cleanup

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 17:42:49 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind (back) returned to the starting lineup Tuesday, July 28, against the San Francisco Giants after missing time due to a tight lower back.

Fantasy Tip: Lind ($5,000, 10.0% of cap) is batting cleanup, but he is facing Matt Cain who is starting to come alive. Give Lind a game to prove his health before plugging him back into your FantasyScore lineup.

Brewers | Adam Lind remains sidelined

Mon, 27 Jul 2015 17:42:26 -0700

Milwaukee Brewers 1B Adam Lind (back) was sidelined again for the game Monday, July 27, against the San Francisco Giants. He should be available as a pinch hitter, and expected to be ready to return Tuesday, July 28.

Fantasy Tip: With Lind out, Shane Peterson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) made the start at first base and is a cheap option for FantasyScore players.
