Minnesota Twins SP Scott Baker (elbow) said Friday, Jan. 27, that his elbow is feeling good. "Everything feels good. The elbow feels great," Baker said. The pitcher said he plans to throw off a mound six to eight times before pitchers and catchers report for spring training.

Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said that SP Carl Pavano will get the nod on opening day against the Baltimore Orioles April 6. SP Scott Baker will start the team's home opener against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim April 9.

Minnesota Twins SP Scott Baker (elbow) tossed an inning out of the bullpen Wednesday, Sept. 21, and said he felt fine Thursday, Sept. 22.

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Twins SP Scott Baker (elbow) threw a bullpen session and is scheduled to come off of the disabled list Tuesday, Sept. 20.
