Kansas City Royals 1B Kendrys Morales is not in the starting lineup against the Chicago Cubs without the designated hitter in a National League park Friday, May 29.
Fantasy Tip: Morales ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) may not see much playing time at all this weekend in Chicago without the use of the DH, so be prepared to go without him at FantasyScore.

Kansas City Royals 1B Kendrys Morales hit home runs No. 5 and No. 6 and drove in all five runs during the Royals' 5-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals Friday, May 22.
Fantasy Tip: Morales ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is having a fine rebound season batting in the heart of the Kansas City lineup. He has 31 runs, 15 doubles and 37 RBI with a .305/.358/.506 slash line for the season. FantasyScore players have a nice second-tier first base option, and Morales sports a high floor, as he has posted bagels across the stat line just three times through his first 41 games.

Kansas City Royals 1B Kendrys Morales has a slash line of .302/.357/.473 with four home runs in 140 plate appearances this season.
Fantasy Tip: Morales ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has benefitted from hitting in the middle of a vastly improved KC lineup, thanks to the maturation of Mike Moustakas, Lorenzo Cain and Eric Hosmer. The switch-hitting slugger should remain a fine FantasyScore choice, but he has more upside and power when hitting left-handed.

Kansas City Royals DH Kendrys Morales extended his hitting streak to eight games, going 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and three RBIs in a 4-1 win over the Detroit Tigers Friday, May 1.
Fantasy Tip: Morales ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) also has nine RBIs in his last four games, and he is hitting .323 with 20 RBIs for the year. He is a steal at FantasyScore at his current price.

Kansas City Royals DH Kendrys Morales hit his third home run of the spring Thursday, March 19. He currently sports a .325/.357/.600 slash line through 40 at-bats this spring.
Fantasy Tip: Morales is a year removed from a serviceable season, where he returned 23 home runs, 80 RBI and a .277/.336/.449 slash line. His unimpressive 2014 numbers could be reflective of signing half way through the season, too. He stands to be the everyday designated hitter for the Royals and bat in the middle of the lineup. Morales could be a nice bounce-back candidate who can help in three categories, and the best part is he'll be available in the endgame of drafts in the majority of leagues.

Seattle Mariners DH Kendrys Morales is not in the starting lineup Tuesday, Aug. 19, against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fantasy Tip: Check back for manager Lloyd McClendon's stance on playing Morales at first base. Without the option to use Morales as the designated hitter, he might only get a few at-bats during the series in Philadelphia.
