New York Mets 2B Dilson Herrera (finger) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday, May 15, because of a fractured finger. The team also recalled 3B Eric Campbell from Class AAA Las Vegas (Nev.).
Fantasy Tip: It is not known how long Herrera ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) will miss, so owners should monitor the situation. Daniel Murphy ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is expected to take over at second base and could be a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore to consider. Campbell likely will see most of the playing time at third base but probably is not a great option at this point.

New York Mets OF Michael Cuddyer is not in the starting lineup Tuesday, April 28. OF Kirk Nieuwenhuis is starting in left field and hitting seventh in the batting order against Miami Marlins SP David Phelps. 3B Eric Campbell is hitting cleanup as a result.
Fantasy Tip: Nieuwenhuis ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has just one hit in 15 at-bats this year, making him an afterthought at FantasyScore.

New York Mets 3B Eric Campbell is batting fourth in the starting lineup Sunday, April 19.
Fantasy Tip: Campbell ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has played pretty well since taking over at third base. He has posted one RBI in each of his last three games and is coming off a 2-for-3 performance in his last game. Campbell could be a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore to consider.

New York Mets 3B/1B Eric Campbell will be the primary third baseman while 3B David Wright (hamstring) is out. INF Danny Muno will also receive a few starts at the hot corner.
Fantasy Tip: Consider Campbell ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) a nice low-priced flier for FantasyScore contests if he finds a groove at the plate. He is currently 2-for-8 with two runs and a RBI for the season. Campbell also has fleeting value in NL-only and cavernous mixed leagues.

New York Mets 3B Eric Campbell is starting at third base in place of 3B David Wright (hamstring) Wednesday, April 15. Campbell is hitting sixth in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: Campbell ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) was recalled from the minors to take Wright's roster spot after he was placed on the DL today. Campbell hit very well in spring training and will be a sleeper option at FantasyScore, especially tonight against Phillies starter Jerome Williams.

New York Mets 3B David Wright (hamstring) was placed on the disabled list Wednesday, April 15. The Mets recalled 3B Eric Campbell from the minors in a corresponding move. Wright's injury is being called a "mild" strain of his right hamstring.
Fantasy Tip: Wright ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) might only need two weeks of rest since his injury is mild, but that's only if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Campbell ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) hit .263 with three home runs in 190 at-bats in New York in 2014. He's not a power threat really, which will limit him to NL-only leagues in the short term with consistent playing time in Wright's absence.

New York Mets OF Eric Campbell is starting in left field against a left-handed pitcher Friday, Aug. 15, and he and OF Matt den Dekker are essentially involved in a platoon at the position.
Fantasy Tip: den Dekker has much more upside and should see more time in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season. den Dekker should already be owned in all NL-only formats and is worth consideration in deep mixed universes.
