Minnesota Twins RP Glen Perkins (forearm) was cleared to throw 40 pitches during a bullpen session Wednesday, April 18. He's expected to be available out of the bullpen Thursday, April 19. "We got great news on Perk," manager Ron Gardenhire said. "He threw a 40-pitch session out there in the bullpen there in Minnesota, and everything went great. He didn't feel anything, and the doctor said he looks great."

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Twins RP Glen Perkins' (forearm) MRI showed no structural damage to his elbow ligaments, but he has some forearm inflammation. The problem is believed to stem from the radial nerve.
