He had an option to take a three-year sentence with seven years probation. He'll search about 3 1/2 years with time already served.

Bush hit 72-year-old Tony Tufano's motorcycle and fled the scene, while driving a Dodge Durango owned by former teammate Brandon Guyer. According to police, Bush's blood-alcohol percentage was 0.18, more than twice the legal limit for drivers in Florida. He has spent nearly nine months in a Charlotte County jail and is expected to agree to the plea deal during a court hearing Tuesday, Dec. 18. The 26-year-old Bush was the first overall selection of the Padres in the 2004 MLB Draft.
