The San Diego Padres have agreed in principle to acquire RP Huston Street from the Colorado Rockies for a minor leaguer. The Padres will pick up the bulk of the $8 million owed Street in 2012.

Fantasy Tip: The move appears to be a salary dump for the Rockies to strike up activity on the free-agent market. The move greatly enhances Street's potential fantasy value in the spacious PETCO Park. Street had a 5.59 ERA in Coors Field last season as his sinker didn't have as much bite as it would in normal air. He was perfect in three save opporunities, allowing just one hit in PETCO last season. He could be a bargain on draft day.
