The Associated Press reports former NFL DB John Amberg has died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 75. Amberg died Tuesday, May 4, at a suburban Los Angeles hospital. Amberg was a defensive back for the New York Giants in 1951-52 and was elected to a three-year team on NFL Alumni's national board of directors. KFFL extends our condolences to Amberg's family and friends.
