Mike Berardino, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports free-agent LB Zach Thomas (Chiefs) said during a radio interview that he would like to help out the Dolphins in the future. "I definitely would like to be involved in the future. Maybe I'll stop in there for some of the two-a-day [practices]. I feel I can really help those guys," Thomas said.

Barry Jackson, of The Miami Herald, reports free-agent LB Zach Thomas (Chiefs) says he has played his last NFL game and would "love to" sign with the Miami Dolphins for one day so he can retire as a Dolphin. Thomas is still having symptoms from concussions, "including fuzziness when it gets cold."

Contrary to a previous report, Drew Rosenhaus, agent for Kansas City Chiefs LB Zach Thomas, reports on his Twitter page that Thomas is not retiring and is looking forward to have a great season.
