Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the New Orleans Saints could still release LB Derrick Rodgers before training camp. He was unable to participate in offseason workouts and minicamps after undergoing back surgery in February. He is scheduled to receive a base salary of $1.1 million this year and $1.2 million in 2006.
