The Tennessee Titans re-signed SS Jordan Babineaux and LB Patrick Bailey Tuesday, March 13. They also re-signed OG Fernando Velasco and DL Malcolm Sheppard to undisclosed deals. Babineaux's deal is expected to be a multi-year contract. Tennessee is working toward a deal with LB Tim Shaw, too.

The Tennessee Titans have had discussions with impending free-agent SS Jordan Babineaux about a long-term deal. The two sides could reach an agreement but he is not able to re-sign until March 13 because the team took advantage of a rule to lower his contract this season.

Tennessee Titans SS Chris Hope (forearm) split first-team reps with FS Jordan Babineaux in practice Wednesday, Nov. 9. A starter for Week 10 has yet to be determined. "We'll see how (Chris') body responds to being on the field two or three days in a row," head coach Mike Munchak said.

Tennessee Titans SS Chris Hope (shoulder) apparently suffered a dislocated shoulder in Week 1. As a result, Hope may not play in Week 2. "It's how it settles down. We know the injury, it's just a matter of how he gets his strength back," head coach Mike Munchak said. "He took a good shot on it, popped it in and out I think and when that happens, it's a matter of how strong it gets. It's a confidence thing too and the strength level how quickly it comes back in the next couple of days." If Hope cannot go, S Jordan Babineaux would step in and play as the strong safety.
