Chiefs | Team Pleased With Young WRs

Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs also pleased with their rookie crop of receivers – WRs Samie Parker, John Booth, Richard Smith and Zach Fletcher. The Chiefs believe Booth, Smith and Fletcher – all undrafted rookies – all have enough ability to eventually play in the NFL. "Collectively, this group is as skilled as any young receiver group that we've had since I've been here," said Chiefs offensive coordinator Al Saunders. "They all possess the qualities we're looking for. They've demonstrated the speed and quickness, they've demonstrated the ability to catch the football consistently, they've demonstrated the ability to learn a tremendously diverse offense."
