Bob Kent, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles C Dominic Furio is ready to rebound from an ankle injury that cost him his entire 2004 rookie campaign. "Now that it's over, I look at it as a beneficial thing," Furio said. "It's weird to say something like that could be beneficial, but I think it was because I hit the weight room all year and gained about 15 pounds, which I needed. I went to meetings every day. I learned the offense and didn't really have to worry about going out on the field. I could just sit there and mentally go over everything in my mind." Furio will compete against OL Jamaal Jackson for the backup center job during training camp.
