Young off the disabled list too soon because he is 3-for-20 with six strikeouts since returning. Gibson said it was difficult for Young going from not playing for an extended period of time to playing every day without a rehab assignment.

Pollock to Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move. Young went 4-for-15 with three doubles, a homer and eight RBIs in four rehab games with Single-A Visalia and Reno.
