The Jets would receive a first- and third-round draft choice as compensation should another team sign Edwards and the Jets refuse to match the offer.

Edwards saw only three more passes thrown his way after scoring a touchdown in the second quarter. "We didn't have the same attitude in the second half," Edwards said. "Take that for what it is." When asked if he was upset with the playcalling, Edwards replied, "No disrespect, but you witnessed the game. I don't call the plays. I just run them."

The NFL will review Edwards' case and could suspend him next season. Edwards will not be suspended this season no matter how far the Jets advance in the playoffs.
