Milwaukee Brewers SP Zack Greinke threw eight shutout innings and gave up just two hits while walking none and striking out a season-high 11 hitters in a no-decision against the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday, May 9. It was his 15th career double-digit strikeout outing. He was 13-0 in 18 starts at Miller Park before the game, becoming the sixth player since 1900 to win each of his first 13 home decisions.

Milwaukee Brewers SP Zack Greinke lost his first game of the season to the Chicago Cubs Thursday, April 12, by surrendering eight earned runs for the first time since July of 2012. He allowed nine hits and used 84 pitches through 3 2/3 innings. Greinke sat down the first six hitters but then allowed seven of the first eight batters to reach base in a six-run third inning. He walked one and struck out five in the effort.
