The Tennessean reports the Tennessee Titans signed RB Dan Alexander to their regular roster from their practice squad. The made the move to prevent the Jaguars from siging him to their roster. To make room for Alexander to sign, the Titans released FB Wes Ours. If Ours clears waivers, the Titans want to sign him to their practice squad.

The Tennessean reports, newly signed FB Wes Ours is being brought in to do one thing and that is to lead the RB into the hold and smash the LB. Ours was claimed off waivers Wednesday and was in uniform practicing with the team Thursday in a few plays and team drills.

This morning we reported the Indianapolis Colts were expected to sign a free agent LB today. Right on cue they did as they signed LB Ryan Phillips. They waived RB Wes Ours to free the needed roster spot. Phillips played the last four seasons with the New York Giants and he was waived by Oakland in the pre-season.
