An internal investigation has cleared three officers of any wrongdoing during the arrest. Driver signed a sworn affidavit, so the charges he could face include perjury, which is punishable by a year in jail, or filing a false report to a peace officer, which is a misdemeanor with a maximum jail term of up to six months.
