Packers | Perjury investigation requested against Driver's father The Associated Press reports police union officials in Houston have requested a perjury investigation against Green Bay Packers WR Donald Driver's father, Marvin Driver Jr. Officials believe Driver's father lied about a police beating and being forced to swallow cocaine. An internal investigation has cleared three officers of any wrongdoing during the arrest. Driver signed a sworn affidavit, so the charges he could face include perjury, which is punishable by a year in jail, or filing a false report to a peace officer, which is a misdemeanor with a maximum jail term of up to six months. Packers | Team makes history in Week 17 The Associated Press reports the Green Bay Packers became the first team in NFL history to have a pair of 100-yard rushers and 100-yard receivers in a single game, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
