Rick Stroud, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik indicated the team has no interest in signing free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Giants) at this time. The team is looking for receviers to back up starting WRs Antonio Bryant and Michael Clayton. "We're going to let Brian Clark, Maurice Stovall and even Dexter M. Jackson compete and go from there," Dominik said.

Updating a previous item, Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to designate WR Antonio Bryant as their franchise player by Thursday, Feb. 19. The move means Bryant's salary will go from $600,000 last season to at least $9.9 million, the franchise tender number.
