"He pretty much brought out the kitchen sink. Probably one of his best performances as far as using his entire repertoire." Price is slowly relying on his changeup more since introducing the pitch in 2010.

In his Grapefruit League appearance Friday, March 23, he threw a curveball. "It's the first time I threw a curveball in a game," Price said. "I liked it. I threw it quite a bit. For the most part, it was down. I threw one up for a ball, but other than that it was down in the zone. I got some swings and misses, so I liked it today." Price worked into the sixth inning, throwing 85 pitches. He allowed two runs, five hits and two walks with five strikeouts.
