Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai (knee) said he recently underwent surgery to clean debris from his knee. He said the rehab from the surgery is going well. He is expected to be fully recovered by the start of training camp.

The Associated Press reports with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars during Week 16, the Indianapolis Colts locked up a spot in the 2008 playoffs. It is the eighth consecutive playoff berth. Colts head coach Tony Dungy said the team will be able to rest many starters during Week 17 now that they are in. This will allow ailing players such as RB Joseph Addai (shoulder), WR Marvin Harrison (hamstring) and LB Gary Brackett (leg) as many as 17 days of extra rest before the team begins the postseason.
