Although Maroney is aware of the criticism of his alleged toe-tapping running style, he also is aware that if he hits the hole too quickly - and without patience - the run goes nowhere. "That's just as bad as dancing because I'm not really reading the play," Maroney said. "I'm trying to hit it fast and hard, so they can be like, 'Well, at least Maroney was running hard.' It really don't mean nothing if I ain't getting nowhere."
